Hunting Licenses
Our hunts take place in Game Management Units (GMU) 74, 75 and 751. The tags are managed by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. The archery Elk tags are available Over the Counter with the option of choosing an Either Sex tag or purchasing either a bull tag or cow tag individually with the ability to harvest 2 elk during the hunt. The Colorado rifle seasons are 4 individual separate seasons. The 1st rifle season is an Elk Only limited rifle season. The tag is an either sex tag. You must apply for this tag by April 1st. It has been our experience that about 90% of our non-resident applicants draw this tag on their first attempt. The 2nd and 3rd seasons are combination rifle seasons. You can hunt Bull Elk, Cow Elk, Deer and Bear during these seasons. Elk Bull tags are available Over the Counter and are un-limited. The Cow Elk and Deer Tags must be applied for by April 1st. Bear Tags are available Over the Counter. The 4th rifle season is a combination limited season. All tags must be applied for by April 1st. Again, about 90% of our non-resident applicants are successful drawing these tags on their first attempt. Muzzleloader Elk Bull tags will require 1 preference point to get the tag. Prepare for this hunt at least 1 year before by applying for a preference point to assure you will get your tag. Click Here to apply for your license online.
